Our Residencies enable Arts Officers and Venue Managers to work with a touring theatre company to create a project. We recognise that every community is unique, and each project has to be unique to establish a connection with a local community.  Our residencies are designed to:-

• tackle the barriers which prevent people engaging with the arts
• increase the range and number of people taking part
• create new opportunities for people to become involved in the arts in different spaces and places

In our experience, the best way to do this is to get community and professional artists to work together. This may take place within your community or, for potential partners in Cumbria, at The Play Station, Quondam’s base in Penrith.
