You’ll find us in Penrith Cumbria, next door to the Lake District.
We were founded in 1992 by the current director Andy Booth.
We’re dedicated to new theatre writing and encouraging participation in the arts by enabling people to produce and perform work they have created themselves.
In 2000 we moved into our lottery-funded HQ building in Penrith, The Play Station. This creative space has excellent facilities for arts organisations and is available for hire.
Who funds Quondam?
We’re a registered charity, so we get money from a wide variety of sources. We have Regularly Funded Organisation status with Arts Council England North West, and are helped by Local/Regional government, Trusts and Foundations and sponsorship.
